Atlanta Air Show!

This past weekend, Joe flew to Atlanta for the "Wings Over Atlanta" Air Show. The plane he flew down here was on display in the show so he had to talk to people and answer questions about his job, the plane, and what he does for the Air Force. I did not know what to expect but with the weather being so fantastic, the show was a HUGE success and absolutely packed! I had never been to an Air Show show before so it was so neat to see how massive some of these planes were and how far away some of them came from (Japan/Hawaii)! It was so incredible to see all the little kids admiring Joe in his flight suit, the pilot of the plane, and looking at him like he was the greatest thing that ever happened! He was giving everyone high fives and making the kids feel like a million bucks:) Lots of retired pilots also stopped by to tell Joe stories of what they used to do in the Air Force etc... You could tell they loved re-living their youth by talking to Joe. All in all, it was such a neat experience and something I was glad to be part of.

Massive plane Joe could fly some day...

Joe's plane...the T1 The second he opened the door for people to go inside...there was a non-stop line! And right when Joe finally had a free second to eat lunch, a birthday party of adorable little boys walked up...so Joe ate and talked! They were fascinated! They liked looking under the wing?! They all wanted to touch the pilot... This little girl LOVED Joe! (Please note the tail) And he wanted to show Joe HIS plane... Joe's plane was set up right next to the Delta jet... Every 5 minutes there were planes in the sky doing the most amazing tricks and stunts...since Joe was working the show, I had plenty of time to snap some videos! (The Blue Angels were my favorite)
