Cycling, Snapshots and Sunsets!

This weekend was such a blast! On Friday night I met up with Hollie and some other girls at Kaleidoscope for a fabulous dinner! It was so much fun to have a girls night out and just catch up and drink some wine after such a long week at work.  On Saturday I woke up and headed to Columbus to visit Joe and got in that afternoon. With the weather being so AMAZING, we definitely wanted to be outside so decided to go for a long bike ride (which turned out to be about an hr and half b/c we did not realize how long the trail was...it was never-ending!) The scenery was so beautiful so I snapped a ton of photos...it was hard not to!

And the 15 minute break that turned into a photo shoot!

Fast & Fit!

I was browsing at Borders the other week and stumbled upon this fabulous little cookbook called "Fast & Fit". Having a busy/hectic 9 to 5 job (that often turns into a 9 to 9 job) I was looking for some recipes that were healthy, home cooked and easy to whip up fast. This cookbook is filled with TONS of wonderful meal options that don't require too many ingredients. I have already made a few meals/snacks from the cookbook and all were so scrumptious! I would HIGHLY recommend this if you are looking for healthy and delicious recipes to make on a regular basis :)

Low Country in a Flash!

This past weekend Joe and I headed to Savannah for his cousin's wedding. We left early on Saturday morning and got in around noon...just in time to pick up some delicious lunch for everyone from Sandfly BBQ, a Savannah fav! That afternoon we went on a wonderful tour of Joe's childhood stomping grounds...I just LOVE how coastal the city is and how you can just pull up to a pier and go walking by the water whenever you want!
I couldn't resist snapping a pic of the beautiful drive...

LOVED these low country style homes right on the water...

The wedding ceremony was Saturday evening at a beautiful church downtown followed by a reception at the Morris Center. I loved the venue...it was modern but rustic at the same time, just my style :)

I unfortunately didn't get too many pics of Carr (the bride/Joe's cousin) but hopefully some more will be posted online!

Cheese :) (camera was on a strange setting!)
