The Perfect Jeans

I don’t know about you but I have the hardest time finding jeans that fit me perfectly.  With all the amazing brands and fits out there, you would think it would be easier.  I have practically tried them all…from Seven to Paper, Denim & Cloth.  Still, none seem to fit me the way I would like.  Well, I finally found them…my favorite fitting jeans!  I have read a lot about the brand, Earnest Sewn, but had never tried their jeans…until now.  I gave in and bought a pair and could not be happier!  I of course had to get them hemmed but they fit perfectly.  Mission accomplished.  Since I wear the jean/blazer look to work so much, I know these will quickly become a staple :)  I wanted to share in case you had the same problem as I did...perhaps you can given them a try too!

It looks like the celebrities are in love with Earnest Sewn too!

Perfect 4th at the Lake

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July!  I was lucky enough to spend the weekend with my dad's side of the family at Lake Gaston in Henrico, NC.  We went to my Aunt Jane and Uncle Ronnie's wonderful lake house for an enjoyable 3 days filled with boating, skiing, tubing, eating and RELAXING.  It was the perfect setting to catch up with family I only get to see a few times a year since we are all over the place.

Bittersweet

I hope everyone is well! I know I have been a little behind on posts lately and I'm sorry for that! Life has been rather hectic as of late but all for good reasons :) One of the main ones being that I accepted a new job last Friday! I'll be leaving Moxie and heading to J. Walter Thompson (JWT) to take on the role as Sr. Account Manager! I am so excited for this new opportunity but sad to leave all the amazing and talented people I have had the pleasure of working with over the past 5 years. I have met some great friends at Moxie who I know I will keep in touch with for years to come. However, JWT is a new opportunity with new challenges and I’m ready to take them on! There are times in your career when you need to take the next step and I’m excited to be doing that :)

Here is a glimpse into my soon-to-be new office:
