A Charleston Wedding

I hope everyone had a nice weekend! I was fortunate enough to spend mine in Charleston enjoying fabulous weather and time on the coast. One of Joe’s college friends was getting married so it was great that he was able to catch up with old friends from school since everyone usually scatters after graduation.

The ceremony took place at the beautiful Catholic Church on Meeting St. called St. John the Baptist.

They had a cocktail hour after the ceremony and before the reception at the historic Hibernian Hall.

Speeches were made before the reception

The reception was also held at Hibernian Hall in the upstairs ballroom.

On Sunday, we couldn’t leave without getting some delicious seafood at Blossom and taking a stroll on the Battery to enjoy the beautiful waterfront and scenery.

One for One

I'm excited to say that I bought my first pair of TOMS today and I love how that also bought a pair of shoes for a child in need.  I have always adored the TOMS brand and their philosophy (One for One).  Aside from being super cute and comfortable, you are also giving back whenever you purchase a pair.  They perfectly compliment almost every outfit and are a summer must-have!  There are a few other colors I also have my eye on...like the Navy Canvas Women's Classics!

Some of our favorite celebs couldn't resist the urge...

Crawfish? Yes Please!

I hope everyone had a great weekend!  I spent mine in Columbus, MS enjoying a delicious and fun crawfish boil that Joe's co-workers and friends put on.  I headed down after work on Friday to meet up with everyone for a fun dinner at Harvey's.  The boil started early Saturday so it was a full day of eating and mingling!  I LOVE fresh crawfish so it was a nice treat :)

The weather was so amazing when I was driving down on Friday that I had to snap a few pics

2 of Joe's friends flew down to Louisiana to get the fresh batches of crawfish...so good!

It was so fun to visit with everyone...
