Pretty Petals

As many of you know I am taking a painting class which has given me even more of an itch to paint in my free time. I am DEFINITELY still learning; however, I like playing around with color. Last night I pained the below picture for my room. I still have some work to do on it but wanted to share. My ultimate goal is to learn more of an abstract technique as opposed to flowers and things like that...hopefully I'll get there one day!
These are some paintings that inspire me...it's pieces like these that I would LOVE to master so I can paint for others or myself! I love the idea of a modern, clean and airy home with splashes of colorful paintings!

New Stones

So, I may have told some of you but my company asked me to sell my jewelry at "Moxie Market" which is where people who paint, bake, make jewelry etc... will set up a booth in our gallery and sell their stuff! I'm still pondering the idea of this and am not sold on it yet. But in the meantime, I have been making some more necklaces. I wanted to post the new one I made last night! I'm wearing it right now, hehe.
